Job summary

ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics, LLC, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, seeks a Facilities Specialist to support a prime NASA GSFC program in Greenbelt, MD. You will oversee daily operation and maintenance of buildings and chillers, report to the Mission Operations Manager, and work with limited supervision.

The role requires five years of related experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, valid driver's license, U.S. citizenship, and readiness to work weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years’ experience in developing Emergency and trouble call procedures and response plans.
• Training, managing, and supervising a crew implementing the procedures and plans.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
• Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving Record.
• Must be available to work other shifts as directed, to include weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licenses/IDs/certifications.
• Ability to solve problems and work independently or with minimal supervision in a team-oriented atmosphere.
• Ability to adapt to changes in technology and applicable facility/infrastructure codes and standards.
• Familiarity with facility/infrastructure codes and standards, as applicable.
• Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional & courteous manner in diverse situations.
• Demonstrated working ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

• Complies with applicable federal, state, NASA, GSFC, and Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) environmental laws and regulations.
• Follows furnished information directives; Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Policies and Procedures, and contract requirements.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Summary:
