Job summary

ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics, LLC, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Facilities Specialist to support a prime program at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD. This is a part-time, temporary, on-call position.

Primarily responsible for developing FOC SOP and training/development for staff as needed. The role reports to the CPP/FOC Manager and operates with minimal supervision while ensuring compliance with federal and NASA regulations.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years' experience in developing Emergency and trouble call procedures and response plans.
• Training, managing, and supervising crew implementing the procedures and plans.
• High school graduate or equivalent
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving Record.
• Ability to solve problems and work independently or with minimal supervision in a team-oriented atmosphere.
• Familiarity with facilities/infrastructure codes and standards, as applicable.
• Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional & courteous manner in diverse situations.
• Demonstrated working ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Developing FOC SOPs for: Incident notifications, emergency response procedures.
• Training on: console systems and alarm monitoring, center-wide notifications, proper maintenance of logs and records, proper operation of Metasys Energy Management Systems.
• Works with minimal direct supervision.
• Complies with applicable federal, state, NASA, GSFC, and OSHA environmental laws and regulations.

Position reports directly to the CPP/FOC Manager; functions independently with management direction and review.

Major Job Activities:

• Developing FOC SOPs for:

  • proper maintenance of logs and records.
  • proper operation of Metasys Energy Management Systems.

Material & Equipment Directly Used:

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:
