Job summary

East Fork is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Asheville, NC to lead facilities field operations under the Facilities Manager. You will manage work orders, perform electrical, plumbing and mechanical repairs, and drive installation projects to keep manufacturing equipment running smoothly.

You will coordinate with team leads, troubleshoot complex systems, and train new technicians. This full-time role offers competitive wages and benefits as part of a committed, mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience in manufacturing maintenance preferred.
• Advanced electrical, plumbing and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work independently to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage all On Demand Work Orders and track through the CMMS software.
• Lead installation and repair projects, including ordering parts and scheduling downtime.
• Coordinate with the Facilities Manager for project direction.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Work with machine operators to diagnose equipment failures.
• Train new Facility Technician hires.
• Participate in weekly Facilities Team meetings and provide status reports.
