Job summary

United Talent Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician for a manufacturing facility in Statesville, NC. This role installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical systems and industrial equipment while prioritizing safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical and electronic components, reading schematics and blueprints, and performing preventive maintenance. The position is contract to permanent, salary up to $28 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• At least two years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of NFPA 79 standards.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical and electronic systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, diagrams, manuals, and blueprints.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to safely use electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work effectively with maintenance and production teams.

Maintenance Electrician

United Talent Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician for a manufacturing facility in Statesville, NC. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and industrial equipment while ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.

Location: Statesville, NC

Pay: Up to $28.00 per hour, based on experience

Type: Contract to Perm

Responsibilities

• Safely install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and electrical or electronic components of industrial machinery.
• Troubleshoot and replace faulty electrical components, including relays, switches, motors, and sensing devices.
• Diagnose, repair, or replace faulty electronic components.
• Diagnose and replace mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machinery and equipment.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to connect power-supply wiring to machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and electrical systems.
• Follow all applicable electrical codes, safety procedures, and facility requirements.
• Follow safety requirements when handling chemicals or hazardous waste.
• Assist with projects designed to improve manufacturing processes and equipment reliability.
• Complete maintenance projects accurately and within established timelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
