Job summary

East Fork Pottery in Asheville, NC is seeking a Facilities Specialist to lead field operations, manage work orders in CMMS, and coordinate repairs and installations to keep manufacturing running smoothly.

The role requires 1–3 years in manufacturing maintenance with advanced electrical, plumbing and mechanical skills. Expect 40+ hours per week with a starting pay of $29.50–$33.46 per hour, training shifts 9–5 for 60 days, then standard hours.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in manufacturing maintenance is preferred.
• Advanced technical electrical, plumbing and mechanical skills.
• Advanced building skills
• Advanced troubleshooting skills
• Advanced understanding of manufacturing processes, controls equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: manage On Demand Work Orders and CMMS tracking; support construction and equipment installation projects; lead installation and repair projects; coordinate with Facilities Manager for project approval.
• Equipment/Facilities: lead troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance; work with machine operators on equipment failures; repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing components; lead HVAC troubleshooting and installation; order parts.
• Team Building: train new Facility Technician hires; participate in weekly Facilities Team meetings with status reports.
