Job summary

Undisclosed in North Carolina is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Electrician) to perform skilled maintenance and repairs on college facilities and grounds, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry tasks.

You will respond to work orders, install and repair systems, operate a variety of hand and power tools, and ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance while supporting campus operations.

Qualifications

• Three years of full-time electrical, general building maintenance, construction, carpentry, HVAC, landscaping, or other related experience is required.
• High School diploma or GED is required. Formal training in mechanical, plumbing, construction, landscaping, carpentry, and/or electrical repair is preferred.
• North Carolina license in area of expertise is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks.
• Responds to work orders and repairs or installs facilities equipment.
• Ensures safe work practices and regulatory compliance; maintains records and reports as needed.
