Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience as a technician in HVAC and Mechanical Systems.
• Must possess a current trade certification in HVAC or Mechanical Systems.
• Experience in federal government contracting.
• Must pass OSHA 10-hour safety course.
• Excellent management and employee relations skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and recommend solutions to problems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Ability to travel to geographically dispersed work sites within Texas; multi-day stays.
• Must obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage O&M service to maintain and operate facilities and utility systems, including HVAC, ductwork, piping, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, water treatment, grounds maintenance, BAS and custodial services for multiple facilities.
• Monitor budgets for projects.
• Ensure safety for all personnel on the job and compliance with environmental standards.
• Interface with labor union contacts and address grievances as needed.
• Research and resolve customer and employee complaints.
• Participate in long-range planning of facility maintenance activities.
• Schedule work to be performed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
