Qualifications

• Minimum five years as a technician in HVAC and Mechanical Systems
• Must hold a current trade certification in HVAC or Mechanical Systems
• Experience in federal government contracting
• Must pass OSHA 10-hour safety course
• Excellent management and employee relations skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to obtain a government security clearance and pass a background check
• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Manage O&M services to operate facilities and utility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BAS) across multiple sites
• Monitor budgets for projects
• Ensure safety for all personnel and subcontractors, and comply with environmental standards
• Interface with labor unions and address grievances as needed
• Research and resolve customer and employee complaints
• Participate in long-range planning of facility maintenance
• Schedule work to be performed
• Perform other duties as assigned
