Job summary

Qualifications

Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a technician in HVAC and Mechanical Systems.
Current trade certification in HVAC or Mechanical Systems.
Experience in federal government contracting.
Must pass OSHA 10-hour safety course.
Excellent management and employee relations skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
Valid state driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Manage O&M service to maintain and operate facilities and utility systems, including HVAC, ductwork, piping, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, water treatment, grounds, BAS and custodial services for multiple facilities.
Monitor budgets for projects.
Ensure safety for all personnel on the job, including subcontractor personnel, compliance with environmental standards, and quality of work performed.
Interface with labor union contacts and address grievances as needed.
Research and resolve customer and employee complaints.
Participate in long-range planning of facility maintenance activities.
Schedule work to be performed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
