Job summary

TPI Staffing, Inc. seeks an EHS Facilities & Security Lead for our Houston campus to oversee daily facility operations, AFCO activities, and physical security under the Director of EHS.

You will coordinate work orders, manage contractors and security vendors, supervise access controls and CCTV, maintain records, and support safety and business-continuity programs on a 1st shift with potential on-call needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate or bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in facilities, industrial services, construction coordination, or security operations.
• Experience coordinating contractors or security providers.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, life-safety and building-code concepts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily facility operations across campus buildings, offices, grounds, and non-production infrastructure.
• Administer the facility work-order process end-to-end.
• Lead AFCO activities: scope, scheduling, access, invoicing, and service performance.
• Oversee contracted security operations, post coverage, visitor controls, and incident reporting.
• Manage badge access, locks, doors, cameras, alarms, and other security systems with stakeholders.
• Coordinate janitorial, landscaping, pest control, waste, and office moves.
• Conduct routine facility and security inspections and drive corrective actions.
• Support projects with scope development, scheduling, budgeting, and turnover docs.
• Maintain records, service agreements, drawings, inventories, logs, and KPIs.
• Assist with emergency response, severe-weather prep, and business continuity activities.
• Ensure compliance with policies, codes, and contractor-safety requirements.
