Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of five (5) years of directly job-related experience.
• Education in lieu of experience accepted.
• Security sensitive; criminal history check required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations, maintenance and staff of Facility Operations for Student Support.
• Sets tone and expectations; provides evaluation, feedback and reports on performance.
• Drafts operating procedures, staff work plans and KPI benchmarks with APPA levels.
• Manages strategic plans, budgets and infrastructure; controls costs.
• Keeps current with best practices; participates in TAPPA and professional orgs.
• Develops staffing plans; hires, develops, motivates and evaluates staff.
• Establishes culture with standards in safety, complaints, efficiency and inventory.
• Prepares cost estimates, RFPs/RFQs and contract documents; inspects work.
• Directs services operations, inventory, scheduling and work orders.
• Develops short/long-range plans; negotiates contracts with subs/consultants.
• Advances sustainable practices in day-to-day operations.
• Responds to emergencies on weekends/holidays; communicates with stakeholders.
• Performs other job-related duties as required.
