Job summary

Advatix, Inc is seeking a Facility Manager to oversee maintenance, safety, and operational support for a warehouse and production environment. You will supervise staff, manage vendor contracts, and ensure compliance with ISO quality and OSHA safety standards.

Responsibilities include managing groundskeeping, coordinating external projects, maintaining equipment services, and supporting audits and training programs with HR collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or Vocational Certificate required.
• 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Minimum 2 years warehouse/building equipment maintenance experience.
• Previous leadership experience preferred including coaching and development of employees.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, system schematics, and technical manuals.
• Ability to generate and process work on a computerized maintenance-management system (CMMS).
• Ability to determine priorities, make decisions, and manage an organized operation.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Ability to handle stressful situations with tact and control.
• Certified forklift equipment instructor.
• PC skills.
• ISO quality knowledge and training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining and understanding vendor service agreements for the facility and adjacent grounds.
• Project Management of contracted projects from outside contractors.
• Manage all outside grounds maintenance; Snow removal and grounds upkeep.
• Provide and maintain service to all company warehouse and production equipment either through outside service agreements or through internal maintenance programs.
• Oversee the facility safety, fire and security systems to provide support as needed.
• Work with Human Resources as a team on issues, employee development, safety, and communications.
