Hope School in Melrose Park, IL is seeking a Manager of Facilities and Safety to lead the maintenance team across multiple campuses. You will supervise around-the-clock operations, ensure building codes, safety standards, and reliable facilities services.

This role involves training staff, evaluating performance, managing work orders, and coordinating with directors to align facilities with program needs. A bachelor’s degree in facilities management and at least two years of leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in facilities management or related field.
• Minimum of two years’ experience managing teams.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Technical skills in maintenance trades are preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plan, supervise, and evaluate maintenance staff for around-the-clock operation.
• Interview and train new maintenance team members; conduct performance evaluations.
• Evaluate quality and coach staff in accordance with Hope policies.
• Conduct routine inspection reports of facilities and safety checks.
• Coordinate with program directors on building needs and work orders.
• Assist in planning and maintaining preventative maintenance across properties.
• Manage the work ticket system and analyze data for efficiency.
• Implement safety policies and follow up on incidents.
