Job summary

Engtal in Austin, TX seeks a Facilities & Safety Manager to oversee safe, reliable operation of offices, labs, cleanrooms, and critical utilities. Responsibilities include utilities management, preventive maintenance, and regulatory compliance.

You will lead safety programs, manage contractors, and coordinate capital projects, while partnering with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize reliability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant technical discipline.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in facilities operations, facilities engineering, maintenance management, environmental health and safety, or related fields.
• Experience supporting semiconductor, nanotechnology, chemical manufacturing, cleanroom or other advanced manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead facilities operations, safety and environmental programs.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency response.
• Manage contractors, service providers, and vendor relationships.
• Oversee capital projects, budgeting, and project closeout.
• Maintain regulatory compliance, hazardous waste handling, and environmental reporting.
• Ensure building security, utilities and critical systems reliability.
