Job summary

Freedom Village Holland, a Life Care Services community in Holland, MI, is seeking a full-time Maintenance Worker to support building upkeep and renovations. You’ll work with vendors, handle repairs, and help ensure safe, comfortable living spaces for residents.

Candidate should have 1–2 years in maintenance, knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and strong communication skills. On-site duties may include snow removal and inventory management; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a working knowledge of residential building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances.
• Education/Experience: High School or GED; 1–2 years of maintenance experience in a residential or commercial setting; project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with vendors to prioritize and schedule unit renovations through completion.
• Maintain and service building systems and assist in campus maintenance tasks.
• Assist in snow removal and keeping materials/supplies stocked for timely operations.
• Work overtime as needed and perform duties requested by supervisor and General Services leadership.
