Job summary

Challenge Unlimited is hiring a Quality Control Specialist in Kansas City, MO, to oversee cleaning quality at the Richard Bolling Federal Building. The role ensures adherence to the Performance Work Statement, safety and environmental standards, and contract performance metrics.

You will perform routine inspections, document deficiencies, verify corrective actions, and support continuous improvement across facilities, working with site leadership and customers.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required. Preferred 2 years of college.
• Experience: 3+ years in custodial/janitorial/housekeeping or hospital sanitation; quality control or large contract experience preferred.
• Certifications: OSHA 30-hour certification; Custodial Certification within 6 months.
• Pre-Employment Test: Computer technology baseline knowledge.
• Computer Skills: Proficient with Office 365 Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Background/Driving: Pass background checks; valid driver's license; travel required.

Responsibilities

• Facility inspections of offices, restrooms, corridors, and common areas.
• Regulatory and safety compliance with OSHA, EPA, and contract standards.
• Quality documentation and data entry in QC systems; track trends.
• Floor and restroom quality oversight including cleaning and sanitation.
• Contract knowledge and risk management; communicate updates to leadership.
