Job summary

YMCA of Greater Hartford is seeking an Associate Property Manager in Ellington, CT. This on-site role supports facility maintenance, cleaning, grounds work, and program setup across multiple locations. You will handle routine repairs, coordinate with vendors, and supervise staff when needed.

Daytime, evenings, and one weekend day are required. A valid driver’s license is necessary, and you will work within safety standards to ensure a clean, safe environment for staff and members.

Qualifications

• Experience with building and grounds maintenance is required.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and basic hand/power tools is expected.
• Flexibility to work daytime, evenings, and weekend hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping, grounds keeping, and facility maintenance per standards.
• Handle routine and unscheduled maintenance requests promptly.
• Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs as needed.
• Set up and break down program areas for events and activities.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and enforce safety procedures.
• Supervise staff and volunteers when required.
