Job summary

YMCA of Greater Hartford is seeking an Associate Property Manager to supervise maintenance and grounds at Camp Jewell in Colebrook, CT. This full-time, exempt role reports to the Building & Property Manager and aims to keep facilities clean, safe, and well organized in accordance with Association standards.

You will coordinate routine and urgent maintenance work orders, supervise part-time staff, manage inventories and supplies, and ensure safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with building and grounds maintenance required.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and power tools.
• Ability to work unsupervised and adapt to a fluctuating schedule.
• Must be able to lift and assist with equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness and grounds maintenance to association standards.
• Complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work orders promptly.
• Troubleshoot maintenance problems or coordinate with qualified vendors.
• Provide setup/breakdown for events and activities.
• Manage material handling and inventory.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment.
