Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Hartford is hiring an Associate Property Manager in Ellington, CT. The role supports maintenance, cleanliness, and grounds upkeep across YMCA facilities, including supervising staff and coordinating with vendors.

Daytime/evening shifts with one weekend day required. Must obtain CPO upon hire. Excellent safety awareness and ability to manage multiple facilities are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must have prior custodial and facilities maintenance experience.
• Ability to supervise staff and cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to learn and operate maintenance equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness and grounds maintenance of facilities per standards.
• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely fashion.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues or coordinate with qualified vendors.
• Prepare spaces for events and activities, on- and off-site.
• Manage inventory and materials for maintenance operations.
• Support preventive maintenance and equipment repairs.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and resolve safety issues.
