Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA is seeking a Facilities Specialist to lead construction and upgrades across production lines and offices. You will design, issue drawings and reports for aerospace facilities projects, coordinate with vendors, and ensure timely completion of HVAC, electrical, lighting, and security systems.

You will manage RFPOs, supervise maintenance, and help with office relocations, space planning, and campus services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of facilities/vendor management experience.
• 3+ years of experience in managing facilities vendors, contracts, or shipping/logistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead facilities projects for new production lines and office spaces.
• Develop and issue drawings, documentation, and reports for facilities projects.
• Coordinate maintenance for HVAC, electrical, lighting, security, and fire protection systems.
• Schedule activities with vendors and internal teams to meet deadlines.
• Create RFPOs and manage contracts and vendor selection.
• Support campus services and office relocations.
