Job summary

ISS Facility Services - North America is seeking a Facility Coordinator in Chicago, IL. The role coordinates activities and resources across projects, ensuring adherence to operating guidelines and budgets.

You will schedule preventative maintenance, respond to urgent calls, and help create emergency plans, working with the Facility Manager to deliver on contract promises and drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in facility management.
• MS Office – Outlook, Excel, Word proficiency.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work with a budget.
• Ability to read and understand standard business documentation (e.g. contract language).
• Strong organizational and team building skills.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects with tight schedules.
• Team player in a quality-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily requirements to operate and facilitate office services.
• Onsite supervision of office services vendors.
• Maintain cost-effective and safe facilities per contract.
• Communicate objectives and expectations to the site team.
• Work with Facility Manager to manage the operations budget.
• Maintain open lines of communication with customer and partners.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
• Develop and maintain project schedules for sites involved.
