Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Associate, Facilities (Construction Coordinator) in Canoga Park, CA to oversee on-site contractors and ensure adherence to plans, codes and AR procedures across diverse facilities projects.

The role requires coordinating with multiple departments, conducting safety orientations, managing work plans, reviewing invoices, and supporting process improvements while adapting to varying shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior facilities related experience.
• Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior facilities related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior facilities related experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate contractors and subcontractors on site to verify plans, codes, and AR procedures.
• Participate in project planning, design and constructability reviews.
• Perform contractor safety orientations and audits.
• Track open actions and report status to Facilities Project Engineers and Management.
• Provide LOTO oversight with external contractors.
• Coordinate facility shut downs.
• Participate in process improvement activities and take action to improve existing processes.
• Review/approve invoices for payment.
• Work cooperatively with multi-functional groups to assist Facilities team in achieving goals.
