Job summary

AUTOKINITON in Michigan is seeking a Maintenance professional to lead facility maintenance and capital projects on a salary basis. You will manage preventive maintenance schedules, coordinate repairs, and drive cost-effective improvements across our manufacturing campus.

Responsibilities include vendor bid specification, coordinating with utility and service companies, and ensuring projects meet timelines. A bachelor’s degree and 6+ years in manufacturing maintenance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum six years of hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of air compressors and facility air balancing.
• Knowledge of fire suppression systems.
• Knowledge of facility plumbing systems and storm drain requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assume project management responsibilities for assigned projects and ensure timelines are met.
• Manage all facility preventative maintenance service schedules, exterior and grounds maintenance, and coordinate repair activities.
• Generate bid specifications for potential vendors for facility-related projects.
• Act as primary contact with utility companies and facility service providers.
• Coordinate and oversee equipment moves and rigging.
• May manage the EAM preventative maintenance system.
• Full-time salary role as part of the Maintenance team reporting to the Maintenance Manager.
