Job summary

CEIS | Power is seeking an experienced Planner to support high-visibility facilities, workplace strategy, and portfolio planning initiatives in Phoenix, AZ. You will lead cross-functional programs focused on space utilization, occupancy planning, and capital planning to drive value for the client.

Role requires a Bachelor\'s degree and 6+ years of relevant experience, with advanced knowledge of facilities planning and portfolio management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus six (6) years of relevant business, facilities, and/or project/program management experience; OR a combination of education and experience totaling ten (10) years.
• Advanced knowledge of facilities planning, workplace strategy, portfolio management, space planning, occupancy planning, and furniture programming.
• Experience independently leading complex, multi-building, cross-functional programs and initiatives.
• Strong understanding of facilities operations, design, construction, workplace standards, and asset management principles.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, presentation, facilitation, and executive reporting skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and strategic thinking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop solutions, and drive project execution.

CEIS | Power is seeking an experienced Planner to support one of our top clients in Phoenix, AZ.

Role Overview

• Strategic Program Planner supporting the Facilities Strategy & Planning Supervisor on high-visibility facilities, workplace strategy, and portfolio planning initiatives.
• Leads complex, multi-site programs focused on space utilization, occupancy planning, workplace improvements, and capital planning efforts.
• New contractor role created to support increased project demand and long-term planning initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead multi-building facilities projects, workplace transformations, space consolidations, and occupancy planning efforts.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop solutions, and drive project execution.
• Provide expertise in space planning, workplace strategy, furniture programming, and portfolio optimization.
• Develop project plans, schedules, executive reporting, and strategic recommendations.

Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)

• Bachelor's degree plus six (6) years of relevant business, facilities, and/or project/program management experience; OR a combination of education and experience totaling ten (10) years.
• Advanced knowledge of facilities planning, workplace strategy, portfolio management, space planning, occupancy planning, and furniture programming.
• Experience independently leading complex, multi-building, cross-functional programs and initiatives.

Preferred / Valuable Background

• PMP, CFM, FMP, Certified Interior Designer, or similar certifications.

• Background supporting enterprise facilities, workplace transformation, or portfolio planning programs.

Role Logistics

• Pay Rate: $60.00/hour.
• Contract Length: 12 months with possibility of extension.
• Work Model: Hybrid; onsite every Tuesday and Thursday.
  • Tuesday at CHQ and every other Thursday.
  • Every other Thursday at Deer Valley.
  • Additional onsite meetings as needed.
• Work Location: Phoenix, AZ 85004 and Phoenix, AZ 85021
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM.
• Travel: Up to 10% within Arizona; primarily day trips.
