Job summary

Dexian is seeking a Strategic Program Planner to support the Facilities Strategy & Planning Supervisor on high-visibility facilities, workplace strategy, and portfolio planning initiatives. You will lead complex, multi-site programs focused on space utilization, occupancy planning, workplace improvements, and capital planning efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree plus six (6) years of relevant business, facilities, and/or project/program management experience; OR a combination of education and experience totaling ten (10) years.
  • Advanced knowledge of facilities planning, workplace strategy, portfolio management, space planning, occupancy planning, and furniture programming.
  • Experience independently leading complex, multi-building, cross-functional programs and initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of facilities operations, design, construction, workplace standards, and asset management principles.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, presentation, facilitation, and executive reporting skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and strategic thinking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-building facilities projects, workplace transformations, space consolidations, and occupancy planning efforts.
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop solutions, and drive project execution.
  • Provide expertise in space planning, workplace strategy, furniture programming, and portfolio optimization.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, executive reporting, and strategic recommendations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage program risks, deliverables, and performance metrics.

Role Overview

New contractor role created to support increased project demand and long-term planning initiatives.

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead multi-building facilities projects, workplace transformations, space consolidations, and occupancy planning efforts.
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop solutions, and drive project execution.
  • Provide expertise in space planning, workplace strategy, furniture programming, and portfolio optimization.

Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)
  • Bachelor's degree plus six (6) years of relevant business, facilities, and/or project/program management experience; OR a combination of education and experience totaling ten (10) years.
  • Advanced knowledge of facilities planning, workplace strategy, portfolio management, space planning, occupancy planning, and furniture programming.
  • Experience independently leading complex, multi-building, cross-functional programs and initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of facilities operations, design, construction, workplace standards, and asset management principles.

Preferred / Valuable Background
  • PMP, CFM, FMP, Certified Interior Designer, or similar certifications.

  • Background supporting enterprise facilities, workplace transformation, or portfolio planning programs.
