Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a seasoned project leader to optimize the facilities network and manage lifecycle projects, from expansion to maintenance. You will coordinate multiple programs, align priorities with fiscal plans, and drive asset optimization using data to meet timelines and specifications.

The role requires strong project management experience, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus five years related project management or analytical experience.
• Strong knowledge of project management techniques and processes.
• Strong presentation skills to communicate strategies and solutions.
• Excellent critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Solid time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple programs or projects to ensure all components and opportunities are identified, assigned, completed, and implemented.
• Lead prioritization and alignment of network expansion, fiscal year and technology enablement projects and facility maintenance and repair programs to meet customer expectations.
• Drive asset optimization using data to deliver results on time and to specification.
• Lead vendor performance and accountability for adherence to contractual obligation, project completion to specification, and approved funding.
• Ensure compliance and mitigate risk by proactively managing regulatory and internal compliance.
• Develop policies, procedures and job aids for consistent application.
• Participate in development of facility capital, long range outlooks, annual budget, and fiscal planning.
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations and company policies.
• Perform other duties as required.
