Job summary

Tesla Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a qualified Facility Manager for DoD work in Michigan. The role requires managing service requests, risk, and complex projects with MS Project and DoD processes.

The position involves VIP event planning for DoD leaders, cost estimation, and extensive coordination with internal and external stakeholders. A security clearance is required, along with a strong background in facility administration and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience as Facility Manager for a DoD organization or Level II DAU Facility Engineer, including tracking service/work requests and risk management.
• Proficient in MS Project; experience developing program schedules for Facility Related Projects.
• Complete PMT 0160 or 1 year of experience developing facility project cost estimates.
• At least 1 year planning and managing VIP events for DoD and Military senior leaders, including MC duties and instructions.
• Proficiency in MS Office (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and tracking progress of at least ten projects.
• Knowledgeable of DoD Government Purchase Card procedures and Market Research using GSA eTools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• Minimum 36 months experience/education/training in program/managerial work related to the position.
• Resume must demonstrate coordinating complex facility sustainment, repair, and maintenance projects with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate requests and determine priority based on financial and mission factors; track data in management tools.
• Develop program schedules for facility projects using MS Project.
• Prepare cost estimates for facility projects (PMT 0160) and manage sustainment work.
• Plan and staff VIP DoD events, serving as MC and preparing Letters of Instruction.
• Track progress of at least ten projects using Office tools and SharePoint.
