Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City seeks a Facilities Senior Manager to lead a team of project managers, architects, and engineers. The role focuses on design, facilities planning, infrastructure, and construction project management across Bank offices and branches.

You will oversee budgets, schedules, vendor contracts, and stakeholder communications while advancing the Bank's strategic facilities initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree in interior design, interior architecture, architecture, or related business field is strongly preferred.
• Typically requires at least nine years of related professional work experience with leadership exposure.
• At least five years of project management, space planning or interior design experience, with oversight of project managers.
• Strong knowledge of building and life safety code standards.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems.
• Experience managing architects, engineers, and general contractors.
• Ability to interpret construction documents with strong design and planning skills.
• Strong budgeting, planning, and project management abilities.
• Excellent problem solving and customer service skills with clear written and oral communication.
• Initiative, multitasking capability, and effective time management.

• Provides leadership to a team of leaders and project managers with construction, infrastructure, and design expertise.
• Oversees contracts, budgets, schedules, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
• Demonstrates leadership and drives department direction aligned with strategic plan.
• Coordinates business plans and holds staff accountable for results.
• Works with external vendors such as architects, engineers, and general contractors to execute projects.
• Manages governance, risk, quality assurance, and change control for projects.
• Ensures readiness for mission-critical spaces and maintains operational continuity.
