Job summary

The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Electrical Engineer to oversee maintenance and construction services for offices across the district.

You will manage construction projects, develop engineering solutions, prepare cost and schedule estimates, and lead design and contract activities from conception to completion. Responsibilities include managing project life cycle, coordinating with architects/engineers, reviewing drawings and specs, and ensuring projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, facilities management, or related field.
• 5 years relevant experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• PE license is a plus.
• PM certifications are a plus.
• Experience as an owner’s representative is a plus.
• Experience in commercial building electrical system design desired.
• Working knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70 and IECC.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems, preferred.
• Travel (15%).

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of construction projects throughout the project life cycle.
• Oversee overall project performance.
• Monitor and control project activities with contractors to ensure quality and on-time/on-budget delivery.
• Render technical engineering and advisory expertise on projects.
• Review contract drawings, specs, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with architecture/engineering firms on design criteria and drawings; oversee commissioning of district electrical systems.
• Provide evaluation of maintenance and operations to ensure efficiency and continuity.
• Evaluate district electrical systems and backup systems; coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Access Building Automation Systems to identify trends and produce reports.
• Support energy usage messaging within the district.
• Develop design guidelines and SOPs for electrical systems.
