Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is seeking a Facilities Senior Manager to lead the Facilities Management Department and oversee a broad portfolio of design, facilities planning, infrastructure and construction projects for the Bank and its branch offices in Kansas City and Denver.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Degree in interior design, interior architecture, architecture, or related business field strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of leaders and project managers with construction, infrastructure, and design expertise.
• Oversees contracts, budgets, schedules, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
• Drives Facilities capital program strategy and long‑term portfolio goals.
• Oversees project governance, risk management, quality assurance, and change control.
• Coordinates commissioning and readiness for mission-critical spaces.
• Maintains building redundancy and operational continuity.
• Works with external vendors and professional consultants such as architects, engineers, and general contractors to execute projects.
