Job summary

The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City seeks a Facilities Senior Manager to lead the Facilities Management Department, guiding project management, design, and infrastructure for Bank and Branch offices in Kansas City and Denver.

The role drives a multi-year capital program, ensures safe, functional work environments, and partners with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver complex construction projects with minimal oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree in interior design, interior architecture, architecture, or related business field is strongly preferred.
• Nine years of related professional experience, including leadership roles in facilities or similar domains.
• At least five years in project management, space planning or interior design, with oversight of project managers.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of leaders and project managers with construction, infrastructure, and design expertise.
• Oversees contracts, budgets, schedules, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
• Drives Facilities capital program strategy and coordinates long-term portfolio vision.
• Manages governance, risk, quality assurance, and change control for projects.
• Coordinates commissioning and readiness for mission-critical spaces and ensures operational continuity.
