Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. seeks a Chemical/Mechanical Engineer Intermediate to support client manufacturing facilities on multidisciplinary projects. You will review designs, specs and drawings, provide feedback, and coordinate with client owners and site personnel in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes editing specifications, managing P&IDs, layouts and equipment plans, and reviewing vendor submittals and construction documents. Hybrid/remote work with a competitive base salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from ABET accredited university.
• At least 2 years of practical application of chemical/mechanical facilities engineering.
• At least 2 years of design project delivery processes experience.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Edit client specifications and standards and review P&IDs, layout drawings and equipment plans.
• Review vendor submittals, RFIs and construction documents as part of the design team.
• Drive design and construction documents through review to support installation of complex facilities.
