Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Process/Mechanical Engineering Owner’s Representative to support manufacturing facilities projects in Boise, ID. You’ll collaborate with client owners to establish design requirements and produce construction documents for complex industrial systems.

Role involves editing specs, reviewing P&IDs and layouts, and guiding multi-discipline teams through design review processes, with on-site engagement as needed. Hybrid work model offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• At least 2 years of chemical/mechanical facilities engineering experience.
• At least 2 years of design project delivery experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication and teamwork.
• Leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Review client designs, specs and drawings and provide feedback.
• Develop construction documents for installation of complex manufacturing tools and facilities infrastructure systems.
• Edit client specifications, review P&IDs, layouts, and equipment plans; assess vendor submittals and RFIs.
