Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Professional for a primarily remote role with on-site requirements.

You will support facilities process/mechanical ownership on projects centered in Boise, ID, reviewing designs, specs and drawings, providing feedback to client owners, and guiding design and construction documents through the review process. Ideal candidates hold a ABET-accredited Bachelor's in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, with 2+ years in

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
At least 2 years of practical application of chemical/mechanical facilities engineering, including ultrapure water, chemical distribution, gas distribution, process piping, exhaust, plumbing, waste drains, pumps, tank storage/design.
At least 2 years of design project delivery processes experience.
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Review designs, specs and drawings on client projects and provide feedback.
Design oversight for piping for water, wastewater, process chemicals and gases in complex industrial facilities.
Edit client specifications and standards and review P&IDs, layouts, details and equipment plans; review vendor submittals and construction documents.
