Job summary

GenScript USA Inc./ProBio Inc. seeks a Senior Facility Infrastructure Engineer to lead maintenance, reliability, and process automation for a large 128,000+ sq ft facility. You will drive PM/NRM programs, CAPEX oversight, and manage I&E systems to ensure uptime and compliance.

This role requires 15+ years in regulated manufacturing, deep knowledge of SCADA/BAS, cGMP, and strong leadership to direct a team and collaborate with EHS, QA, and IT across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years in engineering leadership in regulated manufacturing.
• Direct knowledge of biologics facility infrastructure, process equipment, SCADA, BAS, IT systems.
• Expertise in equipment qualification, computer system validation, and related GMP/QA practices.
• Proficiency with electronic systems (MS Office, SAP, Maximo) and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Reliability: design, schedule and execute preventive and non-routine maintenance; 24/7 coverage; BAS, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and cGMP environments.
• Facility Integrity: maintain building, grounds and utilities; manage Instrumentation & Electrical systems; ensure safety and reliability for large facilities.
• Regulatory Compliance: adhere to codes and standards; perform safety inspections and audits with EHS.
• Budget & Capital Planning: manage annual repair/maintenance budgets; CAPEX projects; cost optimization; vendor negotiations.
• Vendor & Spend Management: oversee utility budgets; drive energy conservation and cost-reduction initiatives; manage service spend.
• Process Improvement: reduce reactive work; improve uptime; document policies and procedures.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: collaborate with Engineering, EHS and Operations; integrate reliability strategies.
• Associate Management: develop high-performing team through coaching and performance reviews.
• Data & Compliance: maintain asset data; ensure data integrity; support validation and change controls.
• Process Automation Engineering: develop automation strategies; integrate SCADA/EMS/CMMS; support IT interfaces.
