Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial or maintenance experience a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures.
• English fluency required; bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of assigned areas including restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas.
• Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; clean windows and surfaces as needed.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste per regulations.
• Order and stock supplies using PAL’s purchase order system.
• Maintain custodial equipment and tools in good working order.
• Update and resolve tickets in PAL’s maintenance tracking system.
• Assist with maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, minor plumbing, painting, and ballast replacement.
• Escort vendors for repairs and inspections; troubleshoot and report issues to supervisors.
• Transport and deliver supplies across sites for events and coverage.
