Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Porter to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks across indoor and outdoor areas in the West Palm Beach community. The role involves inspecting spaces, reporting issues, and supporting safety and cleanliness standards.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior custodial experience preferred, and excellent communication and customer service skills. Benefits are provided with a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning/maintenance duties including sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, and light bulb replacement.
• Informs Supervisor of needed supplies and safety concerns.
• Maintains cleaning solutions per OSHA guidelines for hazardous chemicals.
• Removes trash, supports emergency cleaning, and completes daily work orders.
• Operates and maintains equipment; ensures safe use and proper condition.
• Inspects areas daily and reports discrepancies to Supervisor; maintains sanitary supplies.
