Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a Porter to provide cleaning and ground maintenance across community spaces in Gig Harbor, WA. You will ensure safe, neat, and attractive surroundings, including floors and outdoor areas, and support basic maintenance requests as needed.

The role requires training completion, basic math, tool handling, and flexibility in shifts. You will work with landscape tools and cleaning equipment to maintain residents and staff areas to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Must complete all Atria specified training programs.
• Able to add/subtract two-digit numbers and multiply/divide with tens/hundreds, using currency/weight/volume measurements.
• Able to handle standardized situations with limited variables.
• Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed.
• Able to safely use basic maintenance and landscape tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning services for offices, apartments, and community areas in a safe, neat, clean, and attractive condition.
• Provide floor care for carpet, tile, and wood floors; may include vacuuming, extracting, buffing, sealing, stripping.
• Compact and remove trash and debris from community areas.
• Maintain grounds including sidewalks, walkways, and building exteriors.
• Perform basic maintenance requests as needed.
• Mow lawns, trim shrubbery, and cultivate flowers where applicable.
• Notify management about repairs; report unsafe conditions promptly to supervisor.
• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in work.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
