Job summary

Sabert Corporation is seeking a facilities maintenance professional to lead shift mechanics, oversee preventative maintenance, and ensure reliable operation of plant equipment. The role emphasizes safety, housekeeping, and timely maintenance activities to support production efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on skills in plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and be proficient with MS Office for work-order tracking and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with little or no supervision.
• Basic plumbing, carpentry and drywall skills.
• Intermediate electrical skills; basic NEC knowledge.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and basic computer use.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preventative maintenance activities and PM techs.
• Schedule and perform routine maintenance and repair of plant equipment and support systems.
• Order parts, materials and tools; update purchase orders.
• Maintain and update work orders and PM records.
• Interface with contractors and vendors to ensure coverage and compliance.
• Ensure housekeeping and safety standards and compliance with facility requirements (e.g., BRC).
• Assist Maintenance Manager with contractors and provide performance feedback.
