Job summary

Wexner Medical Center is seeking a skilled plumbing technician to supervise and perform maintenance on complex plumbing systems, including compressed gas and specialty water systems. You will inspect, install, fabricate, modify, and repair piping and fixtures, while prioritizing safety and documentation.

The role requires at least three years of plumbing experience, a high school diploma or GED, and EPA Universal certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associates/technical degree preferred.
• Three years of plumbing trades experience or equivalent.
• EPA Section 608 Technician Certification- Universal.
• OSHA 10-hour General Industry Safety and Health card required during probation.
• Valid driver’s license and plumbing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain threaded, flanged, groove locked, soldered and pressed plumbing systems.
• Inspect, test, install, fabricate, modify, repair and troubleshoot plumbing equipment.
• Respond to emergencies; follow safety practices; document work and communicate with the team.
