Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries is seeking a Facilities Project Manager in Goose Creek, SC. You will plan utilization of space and facilities to support organizational efficiency, and manage maintenance, modifications, and building projects from concept to implementation.

Responsibilities include defining requirements, negotiating contracts and budgets, tracking milestones, and coordinating resources. You will lead reviews of cost, schedule, and technical performance to keep programs on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of relevant exempt experience.
• Master’s Degree with 1 year of relevant exempt experience may be substituted.
• Equivalents include 2-year degree plus experience or military paygrade E-5 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and manage all phases of equipment and machinery maintenance, facilities modification and building projects from establishment of design concepts through design and implementation.
• Ensures project requirements are defined, contract and contract changes are negotiated, operating budgets established, and financial terms/conditions identified.
• Acts as primary contact for facilities and equipment maintenance, and leads project reviews of cost, schedule and technical performance.
