Job summary

The City of Petoskey is seeking a dependable, hands-on Building and Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, functionality, and long-term care of City buildings, parks, and recreational facilities.

Working under the direction of the Parks and Recreation Director, this position plays an important role in keeping City facilities safe, well-maintained, cost-effective, accessible, and ready to serve residents, visitors, and the community.

Qualifications

• Strong building maintenance and facilities knowledge.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead staff, coordinate contractors and work across City departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, safety, functionality, and long-term care of City buildings, parks, and recreational facilities.
