Conejo Recreation & Park District is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to perform journey-level maintenance and limited construction for the District’s buildings, park amenities, playgrounds and community pools in Thousand Oaks, CA.

The role involves inspections, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, and repairs to aquatic equipment and play structures. Weekend work and rotating schedules may be required, with a California driver’s license and safety certifications preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED with four years of related work experience.
• Experience in building, facility and pool maintenance and repair; expertise in at least two building trades.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; communicate with staff and vendors.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect facilities for deficiencies and safety-related issues.
• Perform rough and finish carpentry and install/repair fixtures, doors and hardware.
• Perform plumbing repairs/installations including various pipe types.
• Perform electrical installation and maintenance including lighting, circuits and controls.
• Operate HVAC systems and equipment as needed.
• Design and fabricate parts from construction materials.
• Operate welding and cutting equipment for metal work.
• Maintain and repair aquatic equipment and play structures.
• Drive District vehicles and operate heavy equipment as required.
