Job summary

Irvine Ranch Water District is seeking a Facilities Services Technician to perform journey level carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and concrete work across district facilities. The role requires installing, repairing, and maintaining building components, and coordinating with supervisors on maintenance needs.

Applicants should have four years of relevant experience, a valid California driver’s license, and the ability to operate a range of tools.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of experience in carpentry, plumbing and concrete work.
• Ability to operate woodworking tools and hand/power tools.
• Valid California Driver’s License (Class C) required.
• Knowledge of safety practices and ability to read codes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform journey level building maintenance/construction work (carpentry, painting, minor electrical, plumbing, lock repair and masonry).
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections, and review contracts for assigned trades.
• Prepare work orders and maintain CMMS records; manage tools and inventory.
