Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or valid equivalent.
• Ten years painting experience.
• Florida Class E Driver License.
• Must obtain State of Florida Class B Commercial Driver License within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders and project tasks; evaluate scope of work and complete assignments promptly.
• Use the City’s work order and asset management system to track tasks, materials, and progress.
• Perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance and construction across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and facilities work.
• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on building systems to ensure safety and compliance.
• Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals; follow written or verbal instructions.
• Operate hand and power tools safely; estimate labor, materials, and equipment needed for tasks.
