Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 10+ years in Facility Management.
• Five years of HVAC, Facilities, Housing or a parallel industry.
• Two years of management leadership experience.
• Prefer BOMA and/or IFMA designation (RPA/CFM).
• Directing, planning, developing, and implementing strategic and operational plans.
• Management of multi-disciplinary teams and working groups.
• Leading customer meetings.
• Managing to meet contract technical requirements.
• Developing a team culture oriented to Customer Satisfaction and Continuous Improvement.
• Preventive maintenance and repairs for HVAC, Boilers, Chillers, Pumps, CRAC Units, electrical systems, fire alarm systems, security systems, and building automation systems.
• Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• Experience on mission critical projects.
• Knowledge of OSHA codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage supervisors and staff including hiring, promoting, recognition, performance improvement plans, and monitoring performance objectives.
• Train project employees and administer JCI policies to ensure required skills and morale.
• Provide technical and management guidance to the team.
• Read blueprints and as-built drawings.
• Ensure O&M work conforms to Technical Provisions and approved documents.
• Manage and support change orders and post-construction warranty activities.
