Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Operations Manager for a newly constructed battery plant in Glendale, KY. You will oversee hard services for MEP equipment, coordinate with clients, lead technical staff, planners, and ensure performance aligns with contract requirements.

Responsibilities include budgeting, preventative maintenance planning, and ensuring safety and quality standards across all facility operations. Strong leadership and communication are essential for successful customer relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in Facility Management with 10+ years in HVAC, facilities, housing, or parallel industry.
• Two years of management leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage hard services for HVAC, electrical, building systems to support uninterrupted manufacturing.
• Lead a multi-disciplinary team, oversee supervisors, hiring, performance and recognition.
• Coordinate with customer, ensure contract terms and policies are followed, and manage change orders.
