Job summary

Johnson Controls in Kentucky seeks an Operations Manager to supervise hard services for a new electric vehicle battery plant in Glendale, focusing on MEP equipment and facility reliability to support manufacturing and administration.

You will lead a team of technicians and schedulers, manage preventative maintenance, control budgets, and ensure performance aligns with contract requirements, safety standards, and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering is required.
• 10+ years of experience in facility management.
• 5+ years of management leadership experience.
• BOMA and/or IFMA designation (RPA/CFM) preferred.
• Experience directing, planning, and implementing strategic and operational plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage hard services of the facility and oversee MEP equipment.
• Lead a team of technical staff and scheduler/planners.
• Plan preventative maintenance, repairs, lifecycles, and budgets.
• Ensure contract terms and performance requirements are met.
• Oversee safety, compliance, and OSHA regulations.
