Job summary

Tekni-Plex is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the Consumer Products division in Dublin, VA. This role performs daily inspections of material dosing systems to ensure proper operation and minimal production disruption, and coordinates with the Maintenance team for repairs.

The candidate will review machinery performance, report failures, and ensure all work complies with GMP and safety standards. Strong time management and collaboration with production teams are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspection of dosing systems to ensure proper operation and avoid downtime.
• Coordinate with Maintenance for repairs and upgrades to machinery and support systems.
• Review machinery performance and report failures to Corrective Maintenance if repair is not possible.
• Notify Facilities Manager or Maintenance Manager about dosing issues causing downtime.
• Coordinate with Production Supervision on downtime needs to perform repair.
• Ensure all work meets specifications for necessary repairs and GMP/safety compliance.
• Collaborate with internal departments to maintain production quality and safety.
• Manage time to balance cleaning and repairs with daily schedules.
• Use EAM to create pick tickets for parts needed on repairs.
• Complete Motan reports per shift and requisitions for tools and supplies.
• Follow all company policies and safety regulations.
