Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking a Facilities Operator to join the Guest Services team at the Zoo. The role focuses on maintaining clean facilities, assisting with daily custodial operations, and training staff to deliver excellent guest experiences.

You will support environmental sustainability goals and work to ensure safety and readiness for events and daily operations across Zoo grounds.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing with strong customer service.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and train seasonal custodial staff.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and events.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead training for custodial staff to ensure high service standards.
• Maintain sanitary conditions in restrooms and public areas.
• Interact with guests and respond to questions or concerns.
• Operate campus vehicles and janitorial equipment as needed.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown throughout the Zoo.
• Follow safety protocols and Zoo policies at all times.
